We will realize how little we need to make a good life we will continue to share with friends and family, near and far We will continue to help others, especially those who are frail, lonely, or sick We will remember that we survived this (although some whom we know didn’t)
Been watching some of your videos and i highly respect what you stand for. It takes a special kind of person to leave everything and start over in a new country by choice.
BTW, i am was born in Portugal ( 20 km from Coimbra......BAIRRADA) and know the country and its people pretty well, but unfortunately never visited Setubal. I was recently widowed, and had plans to visit this summer, with the intention of moving there later. My plans are up in the air. We will see.
I wonder if we all have an internal list like this—thank you for your heartfelt effort to put into words the hope and expectations of how we can move forward. Your writing is lovely.
