Hi Shanna, Between the pandemic and the unpredictability of spring, the timing was not ideal. June might have been a better bet. Having a south-facing, sunny place does make a big difference. The hair thing is so funny. My husband thinks it is so odd that I am creeped out by human hair. (Trichophobia!) Even my own. We are usually swimming in dog hair and that does not faze me. No outfit is complete without dog hair for us. But my own hair, ew!

Love Odete! We stayed in Bomfim for 10 days before moving into our new place and it was a block away. You would like Mesa 325, a café also in that neighborhood. Best overnight oats around!

Loved the article about Brian Kelly too. (Wish I could afford to buy ownership in a hotel here.) That is ok, will get citizenship in a few more years anyway ;)

Best to ye, happy trails!

It sounds like you made the right decision. Sometimes our life adventures just don't turn out the way we planned; but that's okay. You had a memorable experience either way! :)

Hi Shanna well at least you tried it! So you can enjoy life now knowing you needed to try something to satisfy a curiosity!! Even being re-united with your baby, you needed to get back to Setubal and there's always another day! You should be proud because you're not scared to 'TRY' new things. Some people never realise their dreams as they're too afraid to try! That's why I started following your adventures, you're a very strong lady who dares to shed away all the negatives in life and at least give it a go!! Take care Shanna, give Milo a hug too! xx
