Hi Shanna! I bet you're really looking forward to your trip! Hope you have a great time! I'm the same, I only ever take a small piece of luggage for a trip up to seven days! You can always buy anything you need when you get there! I always take some sort of small shoulder bag too which is usually allowed so I put things like medication and paperwork etc in that! Just take the basics, much easier & less stressful. Take care Shanna and enjoy your travels! xx

Cannot imagine traveling without my red cowboy boots--how do you do it?!

I became a dress-only wearer about a decade ago--basically a onesie for grown-ups. At this point, I just can't imagine putting together an outfit, although your pared-down color scheme does make it sound pretty effortless.

"Never finish cats" is begging to be a book title. ;)

I’ve been in the travel industry for over 30 years and traveled quite a lot. I to travel as light as possible. Because like you I certainly do not want to use a crane to have to lift my bag up and downstairs or an escalator. I usually take two pair of jeans couple of tops underwear very rarely wear socks unless it’s a cold climate. It really does depend on where I’m traveling to. Most times I do not take a ton of toiletries I usually buy the small dollar size basics when I get to where I’m going. Now if I travel with my small dog all bets are off because I want him to be the most comfortable in the situation at that point I do have to check a bag.
