Great first video! Let's hope there will be more of the same! Know what you mean about expats & immigrants! I think we were half & half! Obviously we had English friends that we knew actually before we went to live out there. I always tried to converse with neighbours (Spanish) and one of our best friends was from Madrid but she had a holiday apartment in Sabinillas. Had some great evenings with Alicia! There were also Dutch & Germans and a few Scandinavians. Quite a mixture really! Roll on the next one! xx
This was fun to watch especially because, in these covid times, we get so used to thinking of people's thoughts and opinions as a bunch of text on the screen. We don't know if people sound like chipmunks or foghorns, so it was great to hear your voice. I do disagree about Lisbon, we live what you describe as an immigrant life (vs expat) here, we live in a building in which we are the only non-Portuguese and I don't run into other immigrants except from Brazil and Africa in most of my daily activities.
